Business Analyst

The Role

You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business: sales; procurement; finance; and IT – to understand how things currently work, identify where they can work better, and help deliver the changes that make that happen. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys getting into the detail of a process, asking the right questions, and translating business needs into practical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and analyse business requirements from stakeholders across departments
• Map current ("as-is") processes and design improved ("to-be") workflows
• Support the specification, testing, and rollout of new systems and process changes
• Analyse sales, inventory, and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Produce clear documentation, including business requirements, process maps, and user stories
• Act as a liaison between business teams and technical/IT teams during project delivery
• Support change management activities, including user training and adoption
• Monitor and report on the impact of implemented changes against agreed success criteria

About You

• A bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, finance, or a related field. An MBA is highly desirable
• Proven experience as a business analyst, or in a similar analytical/process improvement role
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management
• Comfortable working with data – Excel proficiency is essential; experience with BI/reporting tools is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience within IT hardware/technology distribution, e-commerce, or a similar B2B environment is advantageous but not essential
• Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
